An exceptional Mauritius photographer

Artist represented exclusively by Adamah Fine Arts, Régis Lesieur has dedicated his gaze to the island of Maurice for over thirteen years. Through his photography, he reveals the beauty of its landscapes, the richness of its biodiversity, and the authenticity of its human heritage.

His journey demonstrates a remarkable commitment: since 2011, he has made 6,346 drone flights, cumulated 740 flight hours and travelled 9,836 kilometers in the Mauritius sky. This unique experience has allowed him to develop a rare mastery of air photography and an intimate knowledge of the island, offering perspectives that very few photographers have had the opportunity to capture.

PHOvid: A New Way to Live Photography

Entitled PHOvid – Une exposition vivante, this photo exhibition on the island of Maurice offers an unprecedented experience. By scanning each work with a smartphone, visitors see the images come to life: the sea regains its movement, birds take flight again, waterfalls flow once more, and scenes of life seem to emerge from the frame. An experience where emotion extends far beyond the image.

“For years I have sought to capture the perfect moment.Today I am happy to be able to share the movement, the atmosphere and the emotions that existed when I took each of these photographs.

– Régis Lesieur
