PASQUALE DI FAZIO
PASQUALE DI FAZIO was born in Lavello (1960), in southern Italy, but spent most of his life in Milan. A self-taught artist, he embarked on his art career professionally in 1985, painting glorious Italian landscapes for which he was acclaimed. Di Fazio transposes his love of nature onto the canvas, evoking the ambiance and atmosphere of the Italian countryside, and Tuscany in particular, in his own inimitable way.
His abstract style and subtle use of color effortlessly convey the authenticity of the landscapes and bring out the natural nuances of the country. Di Fazio is currently focusing on abstract work. His profound understanding of composition and depth allows his paintings to take on a spatial dimension, his fabulous and striking colors bringing extraordinary light and a mystical note.
