Pasquale Di Fazio
Pasquale Di Fazio was born in Lavello (1960), in southern Italy, but spent most of his life in Milan. A self-taught artist, he embarked on art professionally in 1985, painting glorious Italian landscapes for which he was acclaimed. Di Fazio transposes his love of nature onto the canvas, evoking the atmosphere and ambiance of the Italian countryside, and Tuscany in particular, in his inimitable way.
His abstract style and subtle use of color effortlessly convey the authenticity of the landscapes, highlighting the natural nuances of the land. Di Fazio is currently focusing on abstract work. His deep understanding of composition and depth allows his paintings to take on a spatial dimension, his fabulous and striking colors bringing extraordinary lighting and a mystical note.
