NELSON FABIANO
NELSON FABIANO was born in Portugal in 1973. He lives and works in Cannes. As a photographer and visual artist, he uses a variety of subjects in his work. He likes to play with material, lines, and colors. Emptiness plays a major role in his pieces, which can be appreciated through the heavy mood of some of his paintings. He paints sofas, armchairs, deserted rooms, and other places familiar to man, who seems to have abandoned his paintings.
NELSON FABIANO also uses photos of large cities that he has taken throughout his life. He subjects his photographs to several modifications with paint, reliefs, and adds collages, etc. His favorite colors are gray, white, and red. His urban paintings have a North American influence and often recall New York. FABIANO also works on portraits of celebrities from the 2000s, the final composition of which generally has a style similar to Pop Art. Relief is so essential in his work. He adds depth and material to his canvases. NELSON FABIANO is a member of the Taylor Foundation in Paris and the Maison des Artistes Français.
