Yves Cass
Yves Cass was born on January 17, 1947, in Creil, and spent his entire youth in Normandy, in Trouville-sur-Mer, where he obtained his philosophy baccalaureate in 1967, at the Lycée Malherbe in Deauville, before attending the École Supérieure de Journalisme, on Rue de Rennes in Paris, and then working as a journalist until 1975, after which he stayed and worked in Africa for several years.
Yves Cass has been painting since his childhood and has participated in numerous exhibitions as an amateur and then as a professional, his work being referenced by the international Akoun guide since 1996, as a painter, sculptor, and ceramist, Cass is also a copper engraver, he creates works on paper using mixed techniques where elements of his engravings are found in collages with stamps and old envelopes, enhanced with pen and ink, and in 2006, his name was referenced in the Who's Who.
