A return to childhood, a stopover in Mauritius
We are pleased to invite you to discover the solo exhibition of Peppone at the Caudan Arts Centre, from 23 to 27 October 2026.
Mauritius holds a special place in the artist’s heart. He found there, years ago, a source of inspiration that still nourishes his work today. His interpretations of the Dodo, the island’s emblem, attest to this attachment and give this exhibition a uniquely resonant character.
Through his paintings and sculptures, Peppone unites familiar characters, vivid colours and references to pop culture. Comic‑book heroes and icons of our childhood meet in compositions where humour sits alongside nostalgia. His universe invites you to rediscover the pleasure of marveling and to cast a fresh gaze upon the images that accompanied our youth.
On the occasion of his visit to Mauritius, discover a selection of works that express the full fantasy of his universe, between shared memories and boundless imagination.
