CURATORIAL ANGLE

The exhibition is in line with Adamah's curatorial approach: to present contemporary works with a strong visual presence, capable of establishing an immediate connection with the viewer.

The selection explores different approaches to contemporary creation, from pop art to abstract and urban languages, and brings together renowned international artists with the Mauritian art scene.

This encounter between different artistic scenes reflects Adamah's desire to build bridges between territories, cultures, and contemporary sensibilities.

This fair aims to become one of the major contemporary art events in Mauritius in 2026, bringing together international artists and Mauritian creators for a large-scale exhibition at the Caudan Arts Center.

Through this initiative, which brings together more than 100 works, Adamah affirms its desire to actively contribute to the development of an ambitious and open-minded contemporary art scene in Mauritius.

The exhibition will enable the Mauritian public and international visitors to discover a diversity of contemporary artistic expressions in one of the country's major cultural venues.

CULTURAL OBJECTIVE

Through this project, Adamah affirms its ambition to actively contribute to the development and visibility of the contemporary art scene in Mauritius.

By bringing together international artists and local creators in the same exhibition space, the fair promotes encounters between artists, collectors, cultural institutions, and the public.

This initiative also helps to strengthen Mauritius' position as an emerging cultural hub in the Indian Ocean.

" With this exhibition at the Caudan Arts Centre, we want to create a highlight for contemporary art in Mauritius. By bringing together international and Mauritian artists in the same exhibition, Adamah is pursuing its ambition to build bridges between art scenes and make art accessible to an ever-wider audience.
