Hedwige Leroux

Hedwige Leroux has always been drawn to art and its many facets, and for many years she took painting and drawing classes at the Académie d'Art d'Uccle in Brussels.

In 2008, she met sculptor Luo Li Rong and joined her studio. An exceptional artist, she teaches her the art of clay modelling and provides her with a viewpoint and approach to her subject. Hedwige discovers the pleasure of working with clay and creates many realistic terracottas from models.

Her technique improves and her work evolves towards more personal pieces.
Her creations are the result of patient work in clay, which she models with finesse. She plays with textures and leaves her mark on the clay, giving life to fine, harmonious silhouettes with a strong presence. Her bronze sculptures are surprising in their fragility and elegance. Resolutely contemporary, they seduce with their creativity and fantasy.

A clean, personal style that highlights the beauty and personality of women in today's world.
