More than 100 works by 14 international artists for an exhibition-sale at Adamah Fine Arts

Exhibition at Adamah Fine Arts gallery in Anahita. Last weekend, on May 19 and 20, this gallery organized two exceptional evenings in partnership with MCB Private Banking, BMW and Anahita Estate. An opportunity to discover the work of 14 internationally renowned artists. Notice to all art lovers, a visit to one of the two Adamah galleries is essential!

EXHIBITION: FRIDAY MAY 19 – THE GRAND DINNER COCKTAIL

5:30 p.m. We arrive at Belgath Square in Anahita. Serge Patetta (the director and founder of Adamah Fine Arts gallery) and his partners await us. We are early, an opportunity to take a walk before the elite fill the carefully decorated space with life.

Classical music accompanies our tour. Claudie Ricaud, director of the François‑Mitterrand Conservatory of Music, has arrived with some of her students. We discreetly discover the exhibited works, majestic in the tranquility of the two expertly lit exhibition rooms.

14 exhibiting artists in the world’s leading galleries

Serge Patetta takes the floor and introduces the event, noting that the 14 presented artists (painters, sculptors and ceramists) exhibit, for the most part, in the world’s foremost galleries, in the United States and Asia. Three of the exhibiting artists have traveled and speak about their artworks: Marie Marziac, Stéphane Braud and Marina Latta.

Serge Patetta also thanks his partners: MCB Private Banking, BMW and Anahita Estate, without whom this major exhibition would not have been possible.

This is the first time in Mauritius that a private gallery has organized an event of this scale. That said, Mr Serge Patetta does not intend to stop there. Indeed, this inaugural appointment will only be the prelude to future events.

Le discours se termine sur le dévoilement d’une grande statue en bronze de 350 kg et 2m de hauteur. Mariela Garibay, artiste que nous présentions quelques semaines plus tôt, a nommé cette oeuvre “Toucher le ciel”. Il n’en existe que deux au monde : l’une à Maurice, l’autre dans une grande galerie parisienne.
